  8.    Before attempting to run OctaMED Soundstudio, you *must* click on
  9.    the icon immediately to the right of this one titled ALTER PATHS
  10.    to enable the progs on this CD to run correctly.

  12.    Please note that none of these commands will alter/overwrite your
  13.    own sys commands on your hard drive, but once launched all paths
  14.    are taken from this Compact Disk and if you wish to revert to your
  15.    HDs paths, then providing your sys: is named as workbench, simply
  16.    click on the icon titled RESTORE PATHS and all paths will revert
  17.    to your workbench.

  19.    If you have called your main partition anything other than workbench
  20.    then to get your normal paths back again, simply open the cli in the.
  21.    System drawer and enter: movesys yoursysname:

  23.    After altering the paths to this CD, you can also enter the Utilities
  24.    drawer and alter the pointer if the one being used is not to your liking.

  26.    We wish to point out that allthough this CD compilation is copyright
  27.    to the publisher, RBF Software, that the only part of this CD which is
  28.    Copyright to said publishers is the OctaMED program itself, which apart
  29.    from the OctaMEDPlayer, found in the utilities drawer, is a fully
  30.    copyrighted program and may not be passed on to other users.

  32.    The remaining contents of the CD, ( samples and mods etc ), have
  33.    been sent into us here or to the Med User Group and have been declared
  34.    as public domain or freeware with usage allowed but in some cases
  35.    copyright retained by said composer/author.

  37.    If you should come across a module or sample that you are sure is not
  38.    public domain or freely usable as has been claimed, please let us know
  39.    immediately and we will ensure that the offending item is removed prior
  40.    to any further copies of the CD being produced and if we can assist in
  41.    tracing the offender who sent in such copyrighted material claiming it
  42.    to be for public usage, we will certainly do so.
